Privacy Policy

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and the full name you provide.

Profile information: Any additional profile information you voluntarily provide, such as your role, company, industry, LinkedIn URL, biography, or photo.

Event data: Information related to events you create, including title, description, date, time, location, capacity, tags, and image.

Usage data: Records of events you have RSVP'd to (attendance records), events you have swiped left or right on (swipe history), and messages you send through the platform.

Automatically collected data: Standard server logs may include your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use third-party analytics trackers or advertising cookies.

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Authenticate your identity and enforce eligibility requirements.
• Display your profile and event listings to other eligible users.
• Power the event discovery and swipe features.
• Facilitate RSVP management and event attendance tracking.
• Enable messaging between users.
• Respond to your support requests or inquiries.
• Send transactional emails (e.g., email verification) - we do not send marketing emails.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• With other users: Your profile information, event listings, and RSVP status are visible to other authenticated users of the platform. Swipe history is private and not shared.
• Service providers: We use Supabase, Inc. to host our database and authentication infrastructure. Supabase processes data on our behalf and is contractually bound to protect it. Supabase stores data on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent harm or protect the rights of others.
• Business transfers: If the platform is transferred to another operator, your data may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to the same privacy commitments.

We do not share your data with any third-party organization without your consent, except as described above.

We retain your account information and associated data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law or for legitimate operational purposes (e.g., fraud prevention).

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit.
• Database-level encryption at rest via Supabase's infrastructure.
• Row-level security (RLS) policies ensuring users can only access data they are authorized to see.
• Password hashing via Supabase Auth (bcrypt).

We use only essential cookies necessary to operate the Service:

• Authentication cookies: Managed by Supabase Auth to maintain your signed-in session. These are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or analytics cookies.

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the Service.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate personal data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
• Objection: Object to certain processing of your data.

The Service is hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), please be aware that the United States may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. Our legal basis for processing your data is your consent (provided at account creation) and the performance of our contract with you.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of the page. Your continued use of the Service after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
